About the NSW PSSA Knockout Competition

The state primary school knockout competitions for NSW public schools are run and managed by the NSW Primary Schools Sports Association (NSWPSSA). The following NSWPSSA Knockouts are available:

  • Australian Football - Boys
  • Basketball - Boys and Girls
  • Cricket - Boys and Girls
  • Hockey - Boys and Girls
  • Netball - Girls
  • Rugby Union - Boys
  • Rugby League - Boys
  • Soccer - Boys and Girls
  • Softball - Boys and Girls
  • Tennis - Mixed
  • Touch - Boys and Girls
  • Small Schools Knockout (for schools with K-6 enrolments <100 students)

To submit an entry for the NSWPSSA Knockout Competition schools will need to access the KO entry form online

Confirmation emails will be sent to the Principal, Sports Organiser and School once an application has been successfully submitted and payment of the entry fee will be processed automatically by the Department of Education. If you would like to check or confirm your school's entry you may access the current online knockout nomination database of all valid entries by following the link at the top of this page.

Applications for entry into the NSWPSSA Knockout Competitions close on the final day of Term 4 (of the preceding year).
